This is a great pattern and I highly recommend it, but I do think the instructions can be confusing at times (like in the beginning explaining the different seam allowance and gores). Also, at least with the bigger size (I made the biggest size), I felt like a lot of the bust measurement wasn’t in the breast portion but would be in the rib cage portion. I definitely had to alter the pattern. Overall, great pattern though.

Exactly as described... I think you need to have an advanced sewing ability to understand everything, but moving the challenge... Cannot wait to make this....

Excellent pattern as always from Redthreaded. Instructions are clear, pdf is layered and is easy to print and assemble, and all boning channels are clearly marked with necessary boning lengths. I found it easy to modify - I wanted to adjust mine for a trendier style and I found it very easy to do and the stays still turned out great. Highly recommend Redthreaded for any historical or Renaissance faire costuming
